The location was fantastic, right in the heart of Dubrovnik. We loved strolling through the charming streets and enjoying good meals. Plus, the staff provided great service, made traveling with our little baby much easier.
My kids wished there were better soundproofing for the rooms. At night, the noise from nearby bars could be a bit much for our family.

Wonderful old hotel for celebrating birthday, highly recommended. Beautiful building and rooms with beautiful decoration. Absolutely perfect location on a lovely square in the heart of the walled city of Old Town Dubrovnik and easy access to a market and stores. Again, walking distance to a Roman Catholic cathedral.

Its location is great inside the city walls
Breakfasts were poor and the rooms were small and dark certainly not worth the money we paid

Staying here reminded me of a beautiful trip back in time. The corner room balcony gave a amazing view of the market square. They arranged a surprise birthday celebration, beyond amazing. The ambience combined with modern comfort.

Very well located in the old city centre and very helpful and knowledgeable staff.
For this sort of price, internet access should be included in the room rate.

The hotel boasts a prime location and friendly staff, though cleanliness could use improvement. The shower flooded constantly, which was frustrating. Despite these hiccups, the breakfast stood out and overall, the charm of the place made the experience enjoyable.

The central location offers vibrant views of the market square. Breakfast was a standout, with delicious home-made bread and a menu that catered to every taste. The staff provided really good service, from assisting with luggage to ensuring the rooms were immaculate twice a day. Navigating through the pedestrian zone with luggage was initially tricky, and the quirky layout of the hotel resulted in some noise from the bustling square.

The situation is brilliant and even though you can't drive to the hotel, with in minutes of calling, a very charming boy appeared to collect our pile of luggage and walk us into the town.

The staff were extremely courteous and helpful. The food was better than at any other restaurant we visited (which included a highly rated fish restaurant). When our departure was delayed by the volcanic ash phenomenon our room rate was reduced. We were highly impressed.
The hotel suffers somewhat from the absence of a residents' lounge.

The breakfasts were very good.
The value for money was poor in that for a five star hotel there were no facilities, eg lounge, gym, pool, etc. We enjoyed our stay very much but did not think that the price or the five star status were merited.
